Proper Sequencing
One of the leading causes of increased costs, quality issues, and schedule delays in construction is re-work — tearing out and redoing completed work. Proper sequencing of tasks is key to avoid re-work. Because we are not dependent on subcontractors, True Way can manage and complete each task in the precise order required, ensuring every step is done right the first time.

Our Story
True Way Builders owner, Ben Schmitt, grew up in Southwest Virginia and attended Virginia Tech, earning a degree in Building Construction. Ben worked for multiple home builders and construction companies throughout high school and college, while also running his own residential renovation business. Over the years, he noticed a clear need in the industry for a more transparent and dedicated approach to homebuilding. This vision led to the creation of True Way Builders. Our company is growing through dedicated work, attention to detail, and building trust with clients who believe in doing things the right way. As a company we are proud to walk alongside homeowners as they turn their visions into reality—walking the True Way of a home build one step at a time.
